Leroy is a co-founder and the CEO of NeedEnergy, a startup building virtual power plants in Zimbabwe with the intention to trade power to minimize the impact of blackouts.

He is a chemical engineer by training from the Zimbabwe National University of Science and Technology, an unreasonable fellow and has led NeedEnergy to graduate from the prestigious CDL-Oxford Climate Program from the Sáid Business School, Oxford University.
