Lewam is a Principal at Partech Africa, the largest Africa focused VC with approximately $450M in assets under management across 2 funds. Partech invests in startups from Seed+ to Series C stage, with initial ticket sizes of $1M to $15M. Lewam has over 10 years of experience investing in the US and emerging markets such Latin America, Southeast Asia, India, the Middle East and Africa. She began her career at a US fintech startup, and subsequently worked in private equity focused on emerging markets. Lewam graduated with honors from the College of William & Mary, where she studied Finance and Development Economics.
