Lilian Simiyu serves as the Deputy Managing Director within MEDA’s Global Programs Division, supporting the management of MEDA’s investments within the Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund. Her role involves investment portfolio management with auxiliary functions in relation to regulatory compliance, risk management, as well as strategy development.

Lilian has 20 years' experience within the financial and investment sector in Sub Saharan Africa cultivated across commercial banking, private equity and development finance. With substantial experience in the agriculture sector, food value chains, light manufacturing and related sub-sectors.
