Lilitha Diatta is a Partner and Investment Committee Member of the Altree Kadzi Gender Climate Fund, a pioneering fund that channels capital into women-led and climate-smart enterprises. She is also director of African Financial Group, a family office and investment platform with a focus on Pan-African investments. Previously, she led Ivili Group, a diversified textiles and agribusiness enterprise designed to unlock value chains and foster inclusive growth across the continent.
She has extensive experience in finance, investment banking, and private equity, having structured and executed transactions across financial services, natural resources, telecoms, and infrastructure. At Musa Capital, she drove pan-African investment strategies, while at Bridge Capital she originated, negotiated, and closed more than $75 million in corporate finance transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and project finance. She began her career at Barclays Africa in investment banking.
Lilitha serves on boards and committees across infrastructure, investment holdings, and agribusiness, including SNA Engineering Group and the African Farmers Association of South Africa. Her leadership and impact have been widely recognized, including the BMF Young Professional of the Year and Social Impact SME of the Year (2024), the Department of Agriculture Women in Agro-processing Award (2022), Mail & Guardian’s 200 Young South Africans (2020), and the SAB Social Innovation Award (2018).
She holds a Master of International Business from Hult International Business School and a Bachelor of Business Science in Finance from the University of Cape Town.
