Lyndsay has over 22 years of experience as an entrepreneur, investor, and business leader in Africa and Silicon Valley. Currently, Lyndsay is based in Nairobi, Kenya where she is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Delta40 - a VC fund and Venture Studio investing in and building high-impact energy, agriculture, mobility, and AI ventures that increase incomes and tackle climate change in Africa. Lyndsay is also an Operating Partner with Equator, a $60M climate tech fund in Africa and is on the Board of several high-growth companies such as BioLite, SunFi, Gridless Energy, & Lori Systems.
Before Delta40, Lyndsay served as the CEO of Fenix International, an energy company that designed, manufactured, distributed, and financed the most affordable solution in Africa. Fenix delivered affordable clean power to over 15 million people in 9 countries across Africa with a team of over 2,000 employees. In 2018, ENGIE, the world’s largest independent electricity producer, acquired Fenix and Lyndsay joined the executive team in Africa to grow their integrated solar, mini-grid, and grid solutions across the continent.
Lyndsay has a BA in International Relations from Stanford University and is the recipient of several awards such as the Stanford Haas Center for Public Service Fellowship and the MTN Outstanding Women in Innovation Award. Lyndsay has worked in over 20 countries across Africa and raised her kids at their homes in Kenya and Uganda.
