Marvin is an investment professional with over 15 years of finance experience and has been involved in infrastructure investing in Africa over a decade. Marvin currently acts as Senior Advisor to Ethiopian Investment Holdings, the largest Sovereign Wealth Fund in Africa, whose assets include the renowned Ethiopian Airlines. In this capacity, he advises the CEO and Investments Team on strategies to drive high quality investors into Ethiopia and deepen capital availability and investment outcomes in the East African nation. He also a Director and CoFounder at LeoneVolt, a West African investment vehicle focussed on infrastructure, transition minerals and agriculture where he is overseeing the development of energy projects in the region. Until recently, Marvin was the East Africa Director at Meridiam, where he led major equity investments and the oversaw asset manager's team, portfolio and investments across the region. He has previously worked as an Investment Manager at British International Investment and began his career at PricewaterhouseCoopers.
Marvin is an English (ICAEW) Chartered Accountant and holds a BScEcon (Hons) from Cardiff University. He is a Fellow of the AFC-Common Purpose Climate Finance Leadership Programme.
