Mohamed Okasha is the Founder and Managing Partner of Disruptech Ventures. He serves as the Chairman of the Investment Committee and represents the Fund on the Board of Directors of some of the portfolio companies including Mozare3, Sprints, and Bokra.

Okasha was recently selected to be a member of the Prime Minister’s Advisory Committee for Entrepreneurship and Digital Transformation.

Okasha is a seasoned executive and thought leader with over 30 years of experience. Most recently, Mohamed was a co-founder and Managing Director of Fawry, Egypt’s leading e-payments company. Okasha co-founded the company in 2009 and led it through multiple funding rounds till its successful IPO in 2019, taking the company value to over $2 billion.

Prior to founding Fawry, Okasha served as the Head of Marketing at Vodafone Egypt, where he led several business operations.

Okasha started his career at Raya Holding, where he spent 10 years in several of the group’s subsidiaries until he became the General Manager of the IT subsidiary.'

Okasha holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science from the American University in Cairo, and an MBA from the ESLSCA Business School Paris. In addition to completing the Management Development Program at the IMD Business School.
