Morula Digoamaye serves as the Unlisted Investments Manager at the Government Employees Pension Fund (GEPF), where he has been entrusted with overseeing the implementation of the organisation’s unlisted investments strategy. This includes managing the internally-managed private equity portfolio of funds (Fund of Funds) and the portfolio of funds managed by the Public Investment Corporation (PIC) (Direct Unlisted Investments).

With nearly ten years of experience in the financial services industry, Morula has garnered extensive expertise in investment banking, investment management, and fund research. He commenced his career at Standard Chartered Bank in Johannesburg, where he was a transactor in the Africa-focused Leverage Finance team. Subsequently, he assumed the credit analyst role, responsible for covering financial institutions in the Southern Africa region.

Morula later joined Alex Forbes Investments as the lead fund research analyst, where he extensively covered alternative investment and South Africa fixed-income fund strategies. His alternative investment coverage spanned sub-Saharan African private equity, private debt, infrastructure, and unlisted property investment strategies.
