Paulette is a Senior Research Associate at AVCA – the African Private Capital Association. Prior to joining AVCA, she worked at different public and non-government organisations, including the United Nations Development Programme in Beijing, the National Treasury for the Republic of Kenya and the International Refugee Rights Initiative. A Kenyan native, Paulette speaks English, Swahili and French. Paulette holds an MSc in International Development in Emerging Economies from King’s College, London and a BSc in Politics and Philosophy from the University of Bristol. Overall, she has produced more than a dozen economic research projects promoting private capital in Africa, reaching a combined audience of 5,000+ people.
