Sidi Mohammed began his career as a technology entrepreneur. After graduating, he co-founded two ventures: a pioneering mobile development and marketing company in France and a digital classifieds platform in Morocco.

In 2011, Sidi Mohammed joined BearingPoint in Paris, a strategic advisory and technology consulting firm. During his tenure there, he actively participated in digital transformation MasterPlans, cloud-based greenfield technology investments and deployments for major European Corporates.

In 2015, Sidi Mohammed became a Portfolio Director at Endeavor, a prominent accelerator focused on high-impact scale-ups in emerging markets. In this role, he selected and provided guidance to over 40 high-growth startups in Fintech, Agritech, Cleantech, and Enterprise software and services operating within the EMEA Region.

In 2018, Sidi Mohammed Zakraoui joined SEAF as the Vice President of Investments for the SEAF Morocco Growth Fund Morocco team. He played a significant role in SEAF Innovation Funds, investing in innovative startups and founder-led companies in the MENA region. Sidi Mohammed invested in several deals in Fintech, Cybersecurity, Agritech, and B2B SaaS across Maghreb, Africa, and Europe.

In 2022, the management team led by Meriem Zairi conducted a Management Buyout (MBO) to spin-off from SEAF and establish an independent investment advisory company, which was rebranded as Emtech VC. Sidi Mohammed is one of the partners in this fully independent management company.

Sidi Mohammed holds an MSc in Management with a specialization in Entrepreneurship & Finance, which he obtained from EM Lyon Business School.
