Sofia Gedeon heads the Sustainable Enterprise sector at Swedfund, the Swedish Development Finance Institution. The Sustainable Enterprises team invests in and manages Swedfund’s portfolio of private equity funds and associated co-investments, as well as direct and indirect healthcare and digitalization investments, in Africa and Asia. Before joining Swedfund in 2022, Sofia worked for more than 20 years with strategic, transactional and M&A advisory at KPMG and Bain & Company, advising private equity, corporate and public clients. Sofia has a MSc in Management and Industrial Engineering from The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm, Sweden.
