Stephanie is the Global Head of the Equity and Funds department of KfW Development Bank. As such, she oversees the Bank´s impact investment portfolio globally. The overall portfolio as of 12/2025 amounts to about EUR 6.3 bn split mainly over climate finance, SME funding, capital market development and agriculture / biodiversity.

Stephanie joined KfW in 2011 and since held various leadership position within the Group. From 2015 2018 she headed the Global Infrastructure and Equity Department for KfW DEG covering DEG’s global activities in the Infrastructure Project Finance and Direct Equity markets. Before, she headed a team which was responsible for the execution of KfW’s EUR 5 bn investment programme for Wind Offshore Financings.

Prior to joining KfW Stephanie worked as a Senior Project Manager at West LB and Commerzbank, where she was responsible for the origination, structuring and negotiation of Project Finance / LBO transactions with a sector focus on renewable energy and transportation infrastructure. Overall, Stephanie has more than 25 years of experience in equity / funds and mezzanine financing as well as in project finance, both in developed and emerging markets.

Stephanie holds a Master Degree in Finance and Marketing from University of applied science Cologne, Germany, and Leadership GMP degree from The Wharton School, USA.
