Tumelo Shakung is the Chief Financial Officer of Revego Fund Managers (RFM), where she drives the strategic and financial leadership of the Revego Africa Energy Fund. Her role encompasses financial management, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement, all aligned with the fund's mission to advance the secondary market for renewable energy projects across Africa. Tumelo joined RFM in 2023, following a successful nine-year tenure at Investec Bank. At Investec, she specialised in crafting finance solutions for African private equity funds and fund management vehicles, serving as a Specialised Finance Solutions Consultant since 2017. Tumelo is a Chartered Accountant (CA(SA)) and holds a Bachelor of Business Science degree from the University of Cape Town. Her prior experience in banking and financial services, coupled with her commitment to renewable energy, underscores her dedication to fostering growth in Africa's financial and energy sectors.
