Umulinga Karangwa is a fund manager with over two decades of experience including 18 years dedicated to African markets. She’s passionate about Africa’s development and committed to contribute to fostering and scaling African capital.

She is Chief Investment Officer at ESATAL, the fully-owned asset management subsidiary of Trade & Development Bank (TDB).

Before that she worked in different investment banks in Brussels, London, South Africa and Morocco.

Umulinga holds several degrees including an Msc in Management from Solvay Business School, Belgium. She is also a CFA Charterholder, speaks fluent French and English and proficient Mandarin, Dutch and German.
