Will Buchan leads the East Africa regional office for Pembani Remgro. Pembani Remgro is an experienced Africa-focused infrastructure investment manager, managing over US$650 million of commitments across two infrastructure funds. The firm has one of the strongest realised track records on the continent, with investments spanning digital infrastructure, energy transition, transport and logistics, and other critical infrastructure sub-sectors.

Over his 18-year career, Will has worked across private equity, infrastructure investing, investment banking and debt capital markets, advising on and executing transactions across multiple sectors in emerging and developed markets. Prior to joining Pembani Remgro, Will spent ten years at British International Investment, investing across Africa and South Asia. He began his career in investment banking at Citi in London. He holds a bachelor’s degree in Modern Languages from the University of Bristol.
