Yvonne Okafor is an investment and strategy professional focused on advancing inclusive finance and entrepreneurial growth across Africa. She currently serves as Program Integration Lead at MEDA (Mennonite Economic Development Associates), where she supports cross-functional alignment and delivery across the Mastercard Foundation Africa Growth Fund and Fund Incubation Initiative, two complementary programs catalyzing gender-lens investing and ecosystem development across the continent.

With over eight years of experience at the intersection of impact investing, strategy, and development finance, Yvonne has supported fund managers, SME's and development institutions to deploy catalytic capital, execute key development projects, and strengthen the investment ecosystem across more than 10 African markets. Her work spans fund design, portfolio management, and direct investing using blended finance structures, with a focus on driving scalable, sustainable impact across Africa.

Yvonne holds a Master of Science in Finance from the Kogod School of Business at American University (Washington, DC) and a Bachelor of Science in Accounting, Economics, and Finance from Albright College (Reading, Pennsylvania) in the USA.
