The Persistent Africa Climate Venture Builder Fund (Persistent ACV Fund) is a US$70 million target impact investment fund advancing early-stage climate businesses across sub-Saharan Africa. Building on Persistent’s more than 14 years of experience investing in and building climate ventures, the Fund provides capital and hands-on Venture Building support to help companies grow and scale. It invests from pre-seed to Series A, focusing primarily on energy-transition solutions, including clean energy access, e-mobility, commercial and industrial solar, residential solar and energy efficiency. The Fund also selectively invests in energy-related agriculture, resource transition and climate ecosystem enablers. Alongside the Fund, a US$5 million Venture Building Facility provides targeted Venture Builidng support. Through this integrated approach, the Persistent ACV Fund aims to deliver measurable climate impact, inclusive economic growth and attractive financial returns for its investors.
