Central African Investment Leader Award

Open to nominations

This category recognises the investment activity, performance, and strategic impact of LPs and GPs focused on Central Africa. It highlights both locally based fund managers deploying capital into companies and projects within the region, as well as international investors actively backing Central Africa through fund commitments, co-investments, and other investment vehicles. Evaluation will consider fundraising achievements, capital deployment, new deals and exits, innovative investment strategies, partnerships, and the overall evolution and influence of the organisation from 2023 to 2025

N.B. Due to a lack of market data for this region, this category is open to nominations.

Best Female Fund Manager of the Year

Open to nominations

This award is for the talented women at a senior level who have made their mark on the African continent. The judges will consider top investment strategies, risk management skills, consistency in delivering returns and industry recognition. As well as this, this category recognises overall fund performance, experience and expertise, leadership qualities, innovation, and unique contributions to the investment community in Africa. Finally, the judges are looking for someone who has made distinct improvements in gender equity via their investment strategies.

Outstanding Contribution to Private Capital

Open to nominations

This award is open to the market captains. The industry pioneers who have showcased innovative strategies, successful deals, thought leadership and made a significant impact to the growth and development of private capital in Africa.
