Francesca Clough is Chief Operating Officer, Asia Pacific, for the UK Government’s Department for Business and Trade. This role works across 15 markets in the region coordinating and supporting on trade and investment engagement including strategy, policy and delivery from Japan in the north to New Zealand in the south. Francesca has previously served in the Foreign Ministry; the Department for Exiting the European Union; the Energy Ministry and in the British Embassy, Paris. She taught International Relations and Diplomacy Studies at the College of Europe, and studied at Edinburgh University and Sciences Po, Paris.
