Karan Mohla is a General Partner at B Capital focused on South and Southeast Asia. Karan has over two decades of global experience across technology and investments. Before joining B Capital, Karan was a Partner at Chiratae Ventures (formerly IDG Ventures India), where he invested in leading companies, including FirstCry, Xpressbees and CropIn. He has invested in more than 30 companies in sectors including Climate, Ecommerce, healthcare, SaaS/B2B, etc. Prior to Chiratae Ventures, Karan worked with QVT Finance LP, a US based hedge fund, and in the technology banking group at Jefferies & Company in Silicon Valley, where he was a founding member for the India office. He was recognized as one of the 40 under 40 leaders by Business World Magazine Karan earned a BBA from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan and an MBA from INSEAD.
