Muneer Valappil is CFO of SC Oscar Fund Management, a Singapore-based private equity firm licensed by the Monetary Authority of Singapore. He oversees finance, accounting, financial control, and compliance across the Fund and its portfolio companies.

With more than 25 years of experience in the energy sector, Muneer has managed acquisitions and finance operations for companies developing large-scale renewable and oil & gas projects. Prior to SC Oscar, he was CFO of a Singapore renewable energy company investing in geothermal developments in Indonesia, and previously held CFO roles with renewable energy platforms across Asia, including a multi-billion-dollar Singapore family office. There, he managed finance and investment for a 240 MW geothermal project in the Philippines and played a key role in structuring joint ventures and driving successful exits.

Earlier, he was Finance Controller for a NYSE-listed energy company developing a multi-billion-dollar LNG project, where he built financial reporting systems, led multi-location teams, and managed investor relations.

Muneer holds a B.Com, an MBA, and is a Certified Management Accountant (USA).
