Petsy Lim is the Head of Risk Management & Compliance at Sun Venture Pte. Ltd., a multi-asset investment firm in Singapore. She leads the development and implementation of the firm’s risk and compliance framework, ensuring it is aligned with the nature, scale, and complexity of Sun Venture’s investment activities. Petsy plays a key role in shaping the firm’s governance and risk culture, working closely with senior leadership to embed robust controls across investment and operational processes.

Prior to joining Sun Venture, Petsy was a Consultant at Mercer Investment Solutions (Singapore), where she specialized in Operational Due Diligence (ODD) on asset managers. Her work involved assessing the operational integrity of investment firms across various asset classes, focusing on areas such as governance, compliance, risk management, trade execution, business continuity, technology and third-party management. This experience provided her with deep insights into industry best practices and operational risks in the asset management space.

Petsy brings over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, including leadership roles at CIMB Bank, Maybank Singapore, and Singapore Exchange Ltd (SGX). She holds a Master of Business Administration from the State University of New York, a Bachelor of Science (Honours) in Business and Management Studies from the University of Bradford, and a Diploma in Compliance from the International Compliance Association. She attained the PRMIA Operational Risk Manager Designation in February 2024.
