Hussain Korji is currently working as a CFO at Ruya Partners -a licensed and regulated asset manager under ADGM structure. As a CFO, Mr. Korji leads the Portfolio Management Group, Credit Risk Committee, Valuation Committee and represents Ruya Partners at Audit Committee of various portfolio companies. Before joining Ruya Partners, Mr. Korji served more than four (4) years as Director at Treasury and Capital Market division of Deloitte Australia, responsible for founding and heading a Private Investments (Debt and Equity) business, offering services in the areas of financial instruments, derivatives, hedge accounting, credit ratings, complex valuation, technical accounting, and M&A advisory. Before joining Deloitte, Mr. Korji served seven (7) years as Senior Vice President Finance at Waha Capital – a ADX listed investment firm.

Mr. Korji brings over 25 years of international experience in private investment, financial control, corporate finance as well as establishing, leading, and digitally transforming the finance function. His core strengths include the structuring complex transactions, valuation of debt, equity, convertibles, and derivatives, capital raise as well as advising on technical accounting matters.

Having worked at leading regional investment banks, and big-4 accounting firms in three continents, Mr. Korji has worked: a) 12+ years in finance leadership roles in the UAE at leading regional investment banks, private credit firm, healthcare investment company and sector-diversified investment holding companies. b) 13+ years with "Big-4" audit firms in Karachi, Dubai and Melbourne.

Mr. Korji is a Chartered Accountant (Australia & New Zealand, United Kingdom and Pakistan), Chartered Management Accountant (CIMA UK) and holds a Master in Economics degree from Karachi University and a Bachelor of Science degree (major in Accounting & Finance) from Oxford Brookes University (UK), in addition to successfully completed a two-year Executive Leadership Programme from London Business School (London Campus).
