Adam oversees BCI’s total portfolio ESG risk exposure and leads efforts to identify climate transition investment opportunities, with a current focus on private credit. He has established an industry-leading risk and opportunity identification framework and supports investment strategy, sourcing, due diligence, and value creation activities in both public and private markets. Adam’s work is focussed on tracking long-term systemic risks to inform and develop investment strategies that will lead to resilient, long-term oriented portfolios. Additionally, Adam provides strategic counsel to various stakeholders including pension trustees, portfolio managers, and members of BCI’s senior leadership.
Adam has over 15 years of experience in climate and sustainability working with many of Canada’s largest companies, small startups, and federal and provincial governments. His background includes advising public and private venture investments in climate tech, developing corporate sustainability and climate change strategies, and supporting climate technology development accelerators. Adam holds a degree in civil and environmental engineering from the University of British Columbia and started his career working as an engineer developing and implementing energy efficiency projects in the energy sector.
