Working in the energy sector for 28 years, covering project finance, m&a, PE and VC, Luís Manuel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Telluris.

Offering a new approach to energy-transition investment, Telluris seeks late-stage tech companies, hybrid primary / secondary opportunities, and the next wave of energy-transition infrastructure developers. Storage, thermal electrification, green data centres, geothermal and asset enhancing tech are key focus areas.

Luís is also a Board Member at Greenvolt Next (KKR company), Executive Adviser at Enline, and has other collaborations with energy sector players.

Previously Executive Director of EDP Innovation for 16 years, he launched and led EDP Ventures, a renowned CVC in the energy space, and co-founded Free Electrons, a worldwide multi-utility venture-client programme. Luís is a member of GCV’ Powerlist100, the most influential CVC professionals globally.

Before he worked at Explorer Investments, Galp, the Portuguese Government and Espirito Santo Investment in Portugal and Brazil.
