Seán is responsible for sourcing and implementing new investment opportunities in the renewables sector for the private equity and infrastructure team at Impax Asset Management. He has been active in the renewables sector since 2007.

Before joining Impax in January 2021, Seán worked at Statkraft where he led a commercial team focused on finding and executing project and platform M&A opportunities in onshore wind, solar, storage and EV across Europe. Prior to this, Seán was a commercial director at Element Power, a European renewable energy project developer acquired by Statkraft in 2018. He has held numerous other roles in the renewables industry during his career including with SSE Renewables and Airtricity.

Seán qualified as a Chartered Accountant with KPMG in Dublin. He earned a bacherlor’s degree in Economics from Trinity College Dublin.
