Karan has over 20 years of Venture Capital, Private Equity and M&A experience across India, South East Asia and United States, and built India's 1st Smart Mobility Fund - Ev2 Ventures. He is currently investing out of his Fund II - Caret Capital II with multiple early stage investments across the Electric Vehicle Ecosystem and Logistics Tech industry, such as Euler Motors, Eveez, Alt Mobility, Swapp Design, Simactricals, Enmovil, Rosh.ai, Peakamp etc. Prior to which he was a Partner at Velos Partners, a Global Venture Capital Fund backed by Cambridge Associates and Facebook Co-founder Eduardo Saverin where he built a couple of unicorns, along with various exits via IPO's, Buyouts & Secondaries. He has experience of investing across multiple sectors such as Infrastructure, Renewable Energy, Impact, Real Estate, Consumer Tech, Smart Mobility, Logistics, Supply Chain and Transportation Tech. His exposure spans across the life cycle of a fund — including serving on the board of portfolio companies. He holds a Masters in Business Administration in Finance from the University of Mumbai.
