Rohen is an Architect with two decades of experience in the Building and Infrastructure industry. His career has evolved to emphasize Sustainability and ESG within the Real Estate and Infrastructure sectors, driven by a commitment to sustainable development. At GRESB, Rohen focuses on ESG as a crucial driver of financial performance. Businesses that utilize evidence-based and data-driven ESG reporting understand that robust ESG practices are not merely about compliance—they are vital for long-term resilience, risk management, and value creation.

Prior to joining GRESB, Rohen served as Executive Director at Zerin Habitat, where he collaborated with Real Estate and Infrastructure companies in Malaysia and Southeast Asia to develop customized ESG roadmaps and KPIs. His work centered on creating and measuring the impact of ESG solutions on specific company operations and long-term objectives.

Rohen's mission is to integrate sustainable practices into the core of infrastructure development. By leveraging GRESB's data-driven assessment tools, he assists organisations in the region in identifying areas of risk, opportunity, and impact in operations. He also works with companies to streamline sustainability data collection and progress monitoring, prepare for regulatory requirements, and integrate sustainability into the operational and investment mandates of the business.

His past work with different stakeholders in the Real Estate and Infrastructure industries has included:

•Developing ESG roadmaps & KPIs.

•Assisting companies in meeting regulatory ESG compliance and reporting requirements, focusing on Scope 1 – 3 Carbon Accounting and Reporting.

•Conducting ESG training & awareness seminars.

•Developing Green Building Solutions & Certification •Developing Towards Net Zero Energy, Waste & Water for green transition funding solutions.

•Developing a Materiality Assessments for companies. •Developing Climate Change Physical Risk Assessments.
