Vivek Salgaocar is an experienced operator, innovator, and investor who founded Prospect Innovation, a first-of-its-kind ecosystem accelerating sustainable frontier technologies for the natural resource and mining industries, and Orogenyx Capital, which invests in the building blocks of our future. As Director of the Vimson Group—a family-owned conglomerate spanning mineral resources, real estate, and financial services—he leads sales, marketing, trading, and global business development within the Minerals Division while co-heading the Vimson Group Family Office.

Named a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum in 2020, Vivek has served on both its Advisory Group and the advisory board of UpLink, WEF's open innovation platform. His speaking engagements include the World Economic Forum, Milken Institute, Columbia University, and Harvard University.

Vivek serves as Board Member and Head of the Outreach Committee at Magic Bus, an education-focused NGO in India. He represents the Vimson Group at various business forums including the Confederation of Indian Industries' India Business Forum, Singapore Business Federation, and the Singapore Indian Chamber of Commerce & Industry. He is a member of the Singapore Chapter of Young Presidents' Organization (YPO) and previously participated in the Milken Institute's Young Leaders Circle and Entrepreneurs' Organization (EO).

A graduate of Emory University (BA, summa cum laude) and Columbia Business School (MBA), Vivek served as a Board Member of Columbia's Global Family Enterprise Program and led the Columbia Business School alumni association of India. Originally from Goa, India, he now resides in Singapore with his wife, Priyanka, and their son, Sujaan.
