Don Tappan is the Managing Partner of Roycroft Capital and Venture Partner at Braemar Energy Ventures. Don has been the Chairman of Utilidata since 2017 which is bringing AI to the edge, in partnership with NVIDIA. He has been involved in investments such as Carbonfree Chemicals, Chargepoint, Aledia and many others.
Don has been an investor in the Energy Transition sector since 2013 and invests across power, mobility and infrastructure – primarily at the early stage. He has a dual B.B.A. in Strategy and B.S.E. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Michigan.
