Marisa Sweeney is Principal on the Special Opportunities team. Marisa joined S2G from Generate Capital, where she spent seven years investing in sustainable infrastructure across the solar, fuel cell, renewable natural gas, waste and water sectors. Prior to Generate Capital, Marisa also held positions at Onyx Renewable Partners, a Blackstone portfolio company, and Goldman Sachs. Marisa holds a B.S. in Management with a concentration in Finance and a BA in Politics, Philosophy, and Law from Binghamton University. Originally from Long Island, NY, Marisa now lives in Oakland, CA, and enjoys hosting gatherings, exploring thrift and consignment shops, and hiking across the Bay Area with her dog, Georgia.
