Michael France is the Head of Investment Management at Intrepid Financial Partners. Mike is based in Houston.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Mike was a Managing Director at First Reserve, an energy-focused private equity firm. He focused primarily on the origination, execution and monetization of portfolio investments across the Midstream and Upstream sectors and has served on numerous Boards of Directors of energy companies. Mike was a member of the senior leadership team of First Reserve and served as a member of its Investment Committee and a member of its Compensation and Promotion Committee. Prior to joining First Reserve in 2007, Mike held various roles at Lehman Brothers and Deloitte & Touche.

Mike holds a B.B.A. from the University of Texas and an M.B.A. from the Jones Graduate School of Management at Rice University
