Profile
Sarah Welton is the Director of the GRESB Foundation, the non-profit organization that owns and manages the GRESB Standards. Her work is focused on engaging with Foundation members and stakeholders to ensure future iterations of the Standards contemplate the most significant sustainability opportunities and challenges facing real assets in the next few years. Prior to joining GRESB, Sarah spent nearly two decades advising internal and external clients at organizations including BentallGreenOak, Longevity Partners, the International WELL Building Institute, Wells Fargo Bank and Ernst & Young.
Sarah earned a dual master’s degree in Public Health and Urban Planning from Columbia University’s Mailman School of Public Health and the School of Architecture, Planning and Preservation. She earned her bachelor’s degree in Finance from the University of Georgia’s Terry School of Business. Sarah is also a triathlon and cycling coach and yoga instructor, and mother of two girls.
