William Tolley serves on the Boards of Directors of seven PE-owned companies – Power Grid Components, Sediver, Sigma Engineered Solutions, Richards Manufacturing, Current, EMC, and IEM. He is a former Board Member of Sunbelt-Solomon, Diversitech, and The Gunnery School.

Bill retired from Hubbell, Inc. (NYSE:HUBB) in 2016 after serving for 14 years in several leadership roles, including President of Hubbell’s Power Systems Group (‘HPS’). With revenues of over $2 Billion, HPS serves electrical, gas, and telecommunications utilities around the world with a variety of high voltage transmission and distribution, and substation products and services.

Prior to his HPS appointment Bill was President of Hubbell’s Wiring Systems Group, CFO of Hubbell, and held executive positions in finance at Chesapeake Corporation, UTC/Carrier Corporation and Textron.

Mr. Tolley received Bachelor’s Degrees in Mechanical Engineering and Economics from Tufts University and an MBA from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
