Alex Bello serves as Director of Technology Strategy at EQT, where he leads value-creation and AI acceleration strategies focused on EBITDA impact across EQT’s portfolio and supports technology due diligence for new investments. EQT is a purpose-driven global investment organization with $260 billion AUM covering all phases of a business’s development, from start-up to maturity.

Before joining EQT, Alex held various senior leadership roles in technology and product development, where he was instrumental in scaling businesses, driving multi-million dollar revenue growth, and bringing innovative products to market. He has earned recognition for his contributions to software engineering and delivery, including being awarded a patent for AI-based auto-remediation and R&D efficiency analytics.

With over 20 years of experience building technology products, Alex began his career as a software engineer. His core expertise includes building highly scalable and secure software, modernizing legacy software, optimizing R&D structures, driving growth through data-driven leadership and experimentation, and leading large-scale change initiatives to enhance operational efficiency and business performance.
