Andrew (Andy) Hendrickson is a Chief Technology Officer and board-level technology leader with more than three decades of experience driving transformation across global gaming, entertainment, and media companies. He has built and led organizations of 1,000+ professionals, managed technology budgets exceeding $200M, and delivered platforms that power multi-billion-dollar franchises and regulated global businesses.

Andrew is currently Chief Technology Officer of IGT, where he leads enterprise technology strategy for the Apollo Private Equity–led acquisition and merger of IGT and Everi. In this role, he is responsible for technology vision, platform integration, scalability, and execution across a complex, highly regulated global gaming portfolio.

Previously, Andrew served as CTO of Aristocrat Technologies, leading global technology across land-based, online, and mobile gaming. During his tenure, Aristocrat’s market capitalization grew from approximately $20B to over $40B, supported by next-generation content platforms, disciplined build-versus-buy strategy, and scalable distribution across regulated markets.

Earlier, Andrew was CTO of Activision Publishing, overseeing technology for franchises generating more than $1B annually, including Call of Duty and Crash Bandicoot, supporting 50M+ players worldwide. He also served as CTO of Walt Disney Animation Studios, helping lead the studio’s creative resurgence, including Frozen ($1.13B global box office), while managing a $180M operating plan and advanced compute infrastructure.

Andrew is a named inventor on multiple U.S. patents, holds a BA in Physics from the University of California, Berkeley, and is an active member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences, SMPTE, and ACM SIGGRAPH. He has also served on boards of venture-backed and growth-stage companies.
