David Gottesman is an Operating Partner based in H.I.G.’s Miami office. He supports portfolio value-creation initiatives across the firm’s U.S. private equity funds.

David has over 15 years of strategy and operations experience, with expertise in commercial excellence, performance improvement, and new business incubation.

Prior to joining H.I.G., David founded and led the strategic initiatives/internal consulting group at ChenMed. Earlier in his career, he worked in management consulting at Bain & Company, where he focused on due diligence and portfolio company value-creation for PE clients.

David received his M.B.A. from The Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania and his B.A., cum laude, from Yale University.
