James is the Group Head of Funds at Altum, a European financial services and multi-family office business with $73bn AuA.

James has more than 22 years of industry experience specialising in alternative funds. He has supported numerous well known asset managers navigate the European regulatory environment, ensuring successful fundraising and smooth operations of their private market products. He built his expansive technical background holding accounting, finance, and regulatory roles at leading fund administrators, global banks, accounting and consultancy firms, as well as in-house at alternative fund managers.

James is a Fellow of ACCA (FCCA) and holds a Master’s Degree in Professional Accountancy (MSc) from University of London. (UCL). He is a full member of the CISI (Chartered MCSI) and holds the Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA) certificate in Fundamentals of Alternative Investment. James is an approved principal person with multiple regulators, including the Jersey Financial Services Commission (JFSC) and the National Futures Association (NFA) in the United States.
