Joon is a Partner at Abound Capital, a Singapore-based private credit fund focused on Southeast Asia. Prior to co-founding Abound Capital, he worked in the Financial Institutions Group at Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Morgan Stanley in New York. During his time there, he executed a wide range of transactions, including relationship lending, leveraged buyouts, asset-based lending, and special purpose vehicle financing across a diverse client base. Joon holds a Master’s degree in Mathematics of Finance from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in Economics and Statistics from Carnegie Mellon University.
