Ping is a Director on the Pan-Alts team and has over 22 years of experience in research, sales & trading, and investment advisory in Asia. She is responsible for developing business in Asia (excluding Japan and Korea) and overseeing clients’ alternative investment programs across hedge funds, private credit, private equity and real assets. Ping works closely with Aksia’s global teams focusing on portfolio construction, manager selection, investment updates, risk management and customized reporting.

Prior to joining Aksia in 2011, Ping worked at the FX Sales & Trading desk at Nomura International Hong Kong Limited covering institutional clients in Greater China. She started her career at Lehman Brothers’ Tokyo office in 2003 focusing on Fixed Income Index Research. She also worked at Lehman’s Hong Kong office covering Asia ex-Japan institutional investors from 2004 to 2008.

Ping graduated from Fudan University in Shanghai with both a BS and an MSc in Statistics. She is a CFA charterholder and a member of the Hong Kong CFA Association.
