Ms. Fernandez is a Partner and Chief Operating Officer of Ares European Direct Lending, where she oversees business strategy and operations for the platform. She leads Capital Formation for Ares' European Direct Lending and Corporate Secondaries strategies. Prior to joining Ares in 2015, Ms. Fernandez was an Investment Director at Graphite Capital, a UK mid-market private equity firm. Ms. Fernandez began her career in investment banking at Lehman Brothers and Barclays Capital in New York. Ms. Fernandez holds a B.S. from Babson College in Finance and Entrepreneurship and an M.B.A. from INSEAD.
