Cedric joined Phoenix Asset Management as Head of Private Credit & Housing Associations in March 2023. Within Private Markets, his team is responsible for the origination and deployment of private debt investments in Corporates and Financials. Cedric previously spent three years as an Investment Director at abrdn where he was originating and executing direct private debt investments. He was also leading abrdn’s approach and integration of ESG across Private Credit. Prior to joining abrdn, Cedric spent more than a decade in investment banking at BNP Paribas and Barclays where he was focusing on the origination and structuring of debt financing both in the Investment Grade and High Yield spaces. Cedric has experience across industries, geographies and financing instruments ranging from senior secured debt to subordinated tranches and preferred shares, as well as contingent capital and convertible structures.

He graduated with a Master of Science in Management from HEC Paris and a Master 2 (DEA) in Quantitative Finance from Ecole Polytechnique and Dauphine/ENSAE.
