Dan Cohn-Sfetcu, CFA serves as Head of the firm’s senior credit team. Dan joined Portfolio Advisors in 2018 and has been working in the private markets since 2002. Prior to joining Portfolio Advisors, he was a Managing Director at The Carlyle Group working in the private credit division. Before that, Dan spent 12 years investing in middle-market private equity and credit with American Capital, Richardson Capital and Brookstone Partners. Dan began his career in investment banking at RBC Capital Markets in Toronto and SG Cowen in New York. Dan holds a B.Com from Queen's University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
