Francisca (Fran) is Head of Research at NewVest and is based in London. Prior to NewVest, Fran was a Director of Business Development for Kenz Capital, a long/short equity hedge fund based in London. As part of her role at Kenz, she was responsible for producing research reports to investors. Prior to Kenz, Fran worked for Fidelity International as a Research Analyst in the Investment Solutions Group, covering US and European Equity managers. Fran has also worked for ABN Amro and Fox-Pitt Kelton in their M&A groups in New York. Fran holds an MSc in Applied Neuroscience with Distinction from King's College London, an MBA with Distinction from London Business School, and is a CFA Charterholder. She also has a BA in Economics with honors from Georgetown University.
