John Brignola

Senior Managing Partner, US Direct Lending at CIFC

Mr. Brignola is responsible for the general oversight of CIFC’s US Direct Lending business and specifically its investment functions including chairing the group’s investment committee. He has 38 years of senior and junior debt and special situations investing experience, with the past 25 years dedicated to private credit investing. Mr. Brignola co-founded LBC Credit Partners, a US middle market direct lender, in 2005 and successfully sold it to CIFC in 2021 after growing the business’ direct lending assets to $3.2+ billion through 9 funds. His previous experience includes Citadel Investment Group, PPM America, and AT&T Capital. Mr. Brignola holds a B.S. in Business Administration from West Chester University and a M.S. in Finance from Drexel University.
