Matthias Kirchgaessner has been Managing Partner of PLEXUS Research GmbH since 2021. He specializes in alternative investments such as hedge funds and private debt. He dedicates his work to research balanced risk-adjusted returns. Clients appreciate his experience and thoroughness, for example in conducting due diligence.

Prior to joining PLEXUS, the business administration graduate had been active as a consultant in the field of alternatives with his company CAAAC since end of 2011. Before founding the company, he was a senior product manager for customized hedge fund portfolios at Allianz Hedge Funds Partners in San Francisco and at Allianz Alternative Asset Management (and its successor company NEXAR Capital) in New York. Prior to these positions, he worked as a product manager at Deutsche Investment Trust (dit) and Allianz Global Investors (AGI).
