Neil Callanan leads private companies’ coverage at Bloomberg News focusing on conglomerates, family-owned ventures, AI startups and private equity-backed firms. Prior to that, he was corporate finance czar with a global mandate to drive stories on the impact of higher borrowing costs in the credit markets. He also led Bloomberg’s London bureau, the second-largest, during the pandemic.
