Keynote

Prakhar is a Vice President on the Private Credit team and focuses on a range of investments including primaries, co‑investments/directs, and secondaries. He is involved in all phases of the investment process—including sourcing, due diligence, and monitoring—with a specialist focus on the European private credit market and related transactions.

Before joining Aksia, Prakhar was Senior Manager of Product Strategy at Edelweiss Alternative Asset Advisors, where he worked on structuring private credit funds and evaluating transactions within the stressed and distressed credit strategy. Prior to this, he was an Executive in the Statutory Audit team at Ernst & Young.

Prakhar graduated with honours from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata with a Bachelor of Commerce and holds an MBA in Finance from the Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow. He is a Chartered Accountant (ACA), certified by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India, and also holds a Company Secretary qualification from the Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
