Andrew Tarver is a Founding Partner at Motive Partners. Andrew brings over 20 years of financial services technology experience across the investment banking, retail banking and insurance industries and is passionate about disrupting industry inertia, accelerating company innovation and creating solutions for well-known industry challenges. Andrew was a Founder and Head of Motive Create, leading company-wide innovation, technology due diligence, and the delivery of transformative solutions for portfolio companies and strategic partners. He also continues to support Motive’s WealthTech strategy across the Motive portfolio.

Prior to joining Motive, Andrew founded and co-founded several financial technology start-ups including Thought Machine (core banking solutions), Spoke Technologies (marketplace technology) and Sense (banking-as-a-service platform). Previously, Andrew served as the CEO at Capco UK, the business and technology management consultancy firm focused on forming the future of finance.

Andrew began his career working for Accenture, the global professional services company, where he served many financial services firms such as Goldman Sachs, UBS, and Merrill Lynch. During his tenure, Andrew helped to design and build trading platforms and supported the migration of an equity derivative trading business to a new market making technology solution.
