Profile
Mr. Salzman is an experienced infrastructure and real estate investor with a focus on large-scale development projects. He joined Jacmel in 2024 as an Operating Partner after being a Senior Advisor to the firm. Mr. Salzman is currently the founder and Managing Principal of Active Edge Capital Ventures, an investment, development, and advisory platform focused on real estate and commercial infrastructure projects.
Prior to Jacmel, he was Global Head of Airports for Unibail-Rodamco-Westfield, leading a 50-person team across six airports and the Oculus at World Trade Center. Prior to URW, Mr. Salzman was Chief Development Officer for Brightline Trains, a Fortress-backed high-speed rail company, where he oversaw a multi-billion-dollar infrastructure program including the Miami-Orlando and Las Vegas-Los Angeles corridors. Before that, he led the Americas Development team at Caesars Entertainment, executing more than $4 billion in hotel, gaming, retail, and entertainment development over ten years, including the LINQ Promenade, the Octavius Tower at Caesars Palace, and the world's tallest observation wheel.
Mr. Salzman serves as a Senior Advisor to OTG, Inter Miami CF and the Urban Land Institute. He is also a member of Airport Minority Advisory Council and a former Board Member of Servy, a mobile-ordering platform for airports. Mr. Salzman earned an AB in Economics from Dartmouth College and an MBA from the Kellogg School of Management at Northwestern University.
